Swapping a Boost 2 Lift Column

  1. Remove the motor cover at the base of the lift column: https://youtube.com/shorts/9seddedvczM.
  2. Remove the two bolts that connect the lift column to the handrail: https://youtube.com/shorts/XlumzpQbVOo.
  3. Disconnect lift cable (and console cable, if replacing the user's right hand side lift column) from the lift PCB at the base of the lift column: https://youtube.com/shorts/_Sq81t7hXQY.
  4. (IF APPLICABLE) If replacing the user's right hand side lift column, remove the console cable from the cable channel in the lift column: https://youtube.com/shorts/K6kV7tiHNKA.
  5. Remove the 6 bolts at the base of the lift column that connect the lift to the base: https://youtube.com/shorts/kGIv_OQXcOE. NOTE: Hold the lift column stable during this process as the lift will be free as soon as the hardware is removed.
  6. Remove the lift from the base bracket by lifting it up and out. 
  7. Insert the replacement lift into the base bracket. 
  8. Reinstall the 6 bolts at the base of the lift column that connect the lift to the base: https://youtu.be/1niQMttBMFs. NOTE: Pay close attention to instructions in video to first tighten bolts by hand and using the correct drill clutch setting when tightening bolts. 
  9. (IF APPLICABLE): If replacing the user's right hand side lift column, insert the console cable into the cable channel in the lift column and feed it through the hole in the bottom: https://youtube.com/shorts/nEPle8iByIY.
  10. Reconnect the lift cable (and console cable, if replacing the user's right hand side lift column) to the lift PCB at the base of the lift column: https://youtube.com/shorts/WqBmnuWHOus.
  11. Reinstall the two bolts that connect the lift column to the handrail: https://youtube.com/shorts/KeSUEe5U3cs.
  12. Re-install the motor cover at the base of the lift column: https://youtube.com/shorts/YCShThoC9xE.
  13. Once the lift is fully re-installed, navigate to the home screen on the monitor and use the user's left hand-side knob (bodyweight knob) to move the lift up and down the column, ensuring proper function.
