Boost 2 / Boost 3 Cleaning Guide

 

DO NOT USE A SOAKING WET CLOTH, ABRAISIVE BRUSH, AMMONIA-BASED CLEANERS, OR SHARP TOOLS ON ANY PART OF THE MACHINE

 

Recommended Cleaning Procedures (Minimum 1x Per Month)

Metal/Outside Surfaces

  1. Any mild, non-abrasive cleaner can be used (ex. Simple Green) in the form of wipes or sprayed onto a cloth

Treadmill Surface

  1.  Wipe with a damp, lint-free cloth

Enclosure

  1.  Damp rag with soap and water
  1. To Disinfect -10% bleach solution, then wipe clean with soap and water
  1.  It is recommended to leave the enclosure in a raised position when not in use, allowing air to circulate inside

Screen

  1. Microfiber cloth with a small amount of alcohol should be used to clean the touchscreen

Shorts

  1. Can be machine washed (90-110℉, or 30-40C) using any mild or delicate wash detergent (sports-specific types preferred)
  1. Do not use: Fabric Softeners, Bleach, Non-Mild Detergents
  1. HANG DRY-putting the shorts in the dryer can damage performance fabrics

 

 

Cleaning Frequency

All components should be cleaned on an as-needed basis, or once per month as a default.

 

 

Recommended Maintenance Procedures (Minimum 1x Per Month)

General

The following should be inspected regularly to ensure proper functionality of the Boost.

  1. Visually inspect enclosure for tears or defects
  1. Visually inspect power cord for damage
  1. Ensure exposed fasteners are tight and have not vibrated loose at all
  1. Ensure ropes have no fraying or break in the fibers
  1. Disinfect handrails, display, knobs, and side covers
  2. Visually inspect running belt to ensure it is centered in the opening of the treadmill base.
